2017 the year of adventures
In 2017 we only ran one trail race together, didn't get a lot of new gear, didn't suffer from any major injuries. 2017 was definitely the year of adventure runs. We love running races, but we really love taking a day off of work and going out to the mountains. A lot of our adventures tested our skills as ultrarunners: an 18 mile run that turned into 37, major mental toughness skills in the Grand Canyon, having to plan new routes on the fly because of forest fires, just to name a few.

I also bought a Sprinter Van in 2017, which my husband and I are in the process of converting to a campervan so we can use it for our adventures. It will allow us to drive out the night before and camp at trailhead, which means we can expand the radius of our adventures.
